The Reserve at 77 Apartment Homes

I think overall my experience here wasn't the worst it could have been, but it was an uphill battle from start to finish. The management changed constantly the one year I lived at this place. Upon my move in, I was given a unit with a mold problem and it was such a hassle to try and get a new one, and they refused to honor the rent I had originally signed for. Do NOT be fooled by the mock apartment you're shown. Just some examples of the type of contingency plans they have in place, or lack of... last year on the COLDEST day of the year, my heat went out and they told me "sorry, we're out of portable heaters, but we'll come back tomorrow to fix your furnace" so I went on that night without any type of heat. One day I put in a maintenance request to have my batteries on my fire alarm replaced and the gentleman that did that for me told me the batteries were supposed to been replaced over five years ago... Their gym and pool were constantly closed or only open during business hours, the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything my upstairs neighbors did. The couple of things they do have going for them is they're a smoke free property, in a safe-ish area, you can pay $35 extra a month for the in unit security system, they have a company that patrols the complex from 7pm-7am, and their maintenance guys are pretty fast and nice, I'll give them that. After moving out, I had so much trouble getting my $400 safety deposit back. I had to physically go in and speak the office manager because it had been over a month and had heard nothing. Not only that, but I was told I'd get the full amount back and only got a $360 check in the mail, 2 weeks later. IF you decide to move to this place, take pictures and document everything the moment you move in to the moment you move out. Most of their 5 star reviews are speaking about the maintenance crew, which is true, they're fast and nice. But don't be fooled by that 3.9 average. I'll always be on the lookout to avoid this management company in the future.

Great bang for your buck. The area is really safe. A lot of people have kids here and they all play together. Lived here two years. There was some issues with a certain property manager but she is now gone and they brought in some new office girls and maintenance guys and things are much better now. Ignore the poor reviews, this place is solid. Very clean property, well maintained, and the neighbors are super friendly. I would have loved to have stayed here but I had to move for work. Highly recommend.

Recently moved in and very poor attention to detail on their end as fair as what is move in ready. Exposed framing in closets and exposed plumbing under bathroom sink. May 6 Pam left voicemail this week and said that she would send an e-mail. No one has tried to contact us and schedule a walk though. This is UNACCEPTABLE. 5/18/23 They were supposed to answer some questions and let us know how things are going to be resolved. The appointment was rescheduled for today. There is no sense urgency or concern for the health of my family. Which includes two kids under 3 that have had a runny nose and cough since we moved in. Today there is a vendor that is supposed to come look at the damage and discuss the removal and treatment of the BLACK MOLD.

It is very easy to schedule a tour of the property. We liked the community, the facilities, and the apartment. Attentive reception. Editing: We liked the place so much that we made an application. And to our surprise the date we chose to move (the date they made available) has arrived and we can't move in, because our registration has been under analysis for WEEKS! And now we renewed for another month in the old apt, since the Reserve didn't give us a response. We should have chosen the other location, we probably wouldn't have had such a headache! A MESS!

APARTMENT from HELL!!! If I can give zero stars I would, from the very first day I moved in I had roaches! in my apartment undisclosed charges on my rent bill month to month and when it was Time to move out I told the ladies in the office I will not renew my lease none of them stated I had to fill out a form! This place just wants money consistently charging you stay far away from this place. I rather stay under a bridge NEVER AGAIN !
